The World Health Assembly has designated 2020 the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife.

Over the course of an entire year, organizations worldwide will celebrate what makes nurses distinct, raise awareness of their contributions to health care and science, and shed light on the fact that the world needs more nurses. Stay tuned for a closer look at nursing.
